Requirements

• Minimum age - 18 years
• Part-MED Class 1 medical certificate
• Secondary school
• Proof of English knowledge equivalent to CEFR B2

Pilot License Holders

Holders of a valid PPL(A) or PPL(H) licence issued in accordance with Annex 1 to the Chicago Convention may be credited with a maximum of 40 hours of flight time.

Course Structure

Airwin's Air Transport Pilot training program is an integrated course where students obtain an EASA Commercial Pilot licence with an instrument rating and ATPL(A) theory credit.

The integrated ATPL(A) training programme comprises 6 phases divided into theory and practice.

Theory: Air Law, Operational Procedures, Human Performance and Limitations, Meteorology, Aviation English

Practical: 18 hours of dual instruction, 2.5 hours of solo flight

Theory: Aircraft General Knowledge – Airframe, systems; Powerplant; Electrics and Electronics; Instrumentation

Practical: 10 hours of dual instruction, 11 hours of solo flight

Theory: General Navigation, Radio Navigation, Communications

Practical: 6 hours of dual instruction, 40 hours of solo flight

Theory: Principles of Flight, Mass and Balance, Performance, Flight Planning and Monitoring

Practical: 10 hours dual instruction, 40 hours solo flight, 40 hours simulator

Theory: Crew Resource Management (CRM), Advanced UPRT Theory

Practical: 3 hours of dual instruction

Theory: MCC Theory

Practical: 40 hours simulator (only 15 hours credited for the completion of the training program)
