Course Structure

Airwin's Air Transport Pilot training program is a modular course where students obtain an EASA Commercial Pilot licence with an instrument rating and ATPL(A) theory credit.

This program allows the student to study at his own pace. The flexible approach and the latest technology allows the student to study anywhere.

Students will be introduced to the core topics, laying the foundation for other topics during the course, such as the composition of the international standard atmosphere.
Understanding the teaching and learning process with the key fundamentals of the distance learning program serves as a tool to facilitate progression throughout the course.

Subjects: Air Law, Operational Procedures, Human Performance and Limitations, Meteorology.

All technical aspects of aviation will be introduced during this section. An understanding of the technological background used to design and manufacture aircraft used in the day-to-day commercial environment is the fundamental tool for a proper understanding of this module. Students will be introduced to certification criteria and common industry practices during the manufacture and maintenance of equipment used in day-to-day operation.

Subjects: Aircraft General Knowledge.

This section is intended to introduce the key aspects of general navigation and the fundamental methods used during radio navigation while pilots use on-board electrical communication equipment to facilitate navigation with both internal and external aids.

Subjects: Navigation, Communications.

This section aims to summarise all the subjects previously covered and to put newly acquired knowledge into practice. The aim is to enable students to conduct appropriate and industry standardised pre-flight preparation with mid-flight management and post-flight briefing. The practical use of common techniques is forming an inevitable part of the training to facilitate the safe and efficient operation of entrusted professional equipment, such as the aircraft itself.

Subjects: Principles Of Flight, FPM.

Upon completion of each module, the training department issues an official recommendation to the licensing or examining authority. The recommendation includes the approved examination results for each subject.
